Crowns & Gowns

With over 30 years in the image making business, I have tried my hand at all styles of photography. From lay flats to corporate retreats, jewerly to yoga wear catalogs, headshots to magazine covers, architecture to weddings. But there is one thing that always makes me smile, and that is playing dress up.

I always wanted a spining dress! I remember getting dressed up complete with hair and make up and nails just to wash it all off and try another look. I did this ALL DAY! It was my happy place.

Now, whenever I find myself bored with life and need a recharge I go to dress up! Now they have a term for this! Dopamine dressing! Dopamine dressing is a current "trend" that focuses on boosting mood and happiness by wearing clothing that makes you feel good, often bright and comfortable. Often maximalist!

This time we are in, where there is so musch sadness in the collective, is ready for some dopamine dressing! Add the sea and we have a winning combination! Sea Goddess Sessions!

Whenever I hear about Goddess sessions it is usually focused on the young ladies, but it's the older women who need to be honored. And so I focus my attention to them. To the 55 and older crowd. Let's play dress up by the sea!

So the woman featured here is not 55+ but she was willing to test this out with me. The crown is custom made by me :) ART! I will be making so many more! I LOVE creating them! And with the ocean as my inspiration, the sky is the limit!
