Tom Ham's Lighthouse, San Diego Wedding

When I showed up on at the venue to photograph Paul's wedding to Sohee, who I had never met, and saw a photo displayed of them on a Flyboard TOGETHER, I thought, Wow! Sohee must be AMAZING! It looked so dangerous! My first thought was that he had found his partner in adventure. I mean, they were on one Flyboard, face to face, way up in the air!!! I met funloving, hardworking Paul years ago while photographing him on a Flyboard, one of his ventures that you must check out! It was an adventurous day on the back of a jet ski chasing, well, X-Men on Flyborads basically! Lol! Very fun! Meeting Sohee for the first time and hearing her story of leaving Korea & coming to this country to live without family or friends, (how brave right?!) how she created a life from nothing and found the man of her dreams proved that she is up for this adventure with Paul. Paul hired a translator and got Sohee and her parents (her parents only speak Korean) together. Paul asked her parents for Sohee's hand in marriage while simultaneously asking Sohee to marry him! Sohee and her family said YES! There were many tears of happiness shed throughout the day, mine included.
